allergy update

These pics turned out really cute, but I was actually taking them to document his allergic reaction. He had the smallest piece of cheese the other day and vomitted, plus his chin and mouth broke out in red blotches. (If you look closely around his mouth, you can see it.) Then, this morning he had a reaction to kiwi. He threw up several times. We have an appointment set up in mid-November to see an allergist, so hopefully we'll be able to pinpoint exactly what foods he's allergic/intolerant to. It's becoming harder and harder for me to fix food for all of us not using any dairy, peanuts, tomatoes and a few other things we're steering clear of!! He is sooo much better though since we've taken him off of dairy, so it's well worth me missing my cheese pizza and lasagna :)

I can't imagine how hard it is to fix food, but he looks great! Love the smile. So whats the update on the house? How is Josh's new job?

Julia, I got Kirs a Sage test.

http://www.foodallergytest.com/

It really helped us.

I understand how difficult it is to try to cook.

Kirs can't have soy, corn, dairy, casein, wheat, gluten, oats, sugar, egg, orange, tomato, any kind of nut, most meats, most fruits, and most vegetables.

I hope that your allergist gets you some answers.
