what a storm!

Just a quick update...Sunday evening hurricane Ike came through Coshocton with a mighty force. We got 75 mph winds that tore up our town and cut power to many businesses, schools, and homes. We FINALLY just got our power back this afternoon after over 5 days in the dark. Praise God! It's amazing how we take electricity for granted. I promise I'll have more updates and plenty of pics as soon as I get my refrigerator emptied (we lost all our food), laundry done (can't do laundry w/o power!), cleaning, and caring for my little boy who's been sick all week. Thanks for all of your prayers. God is so good and is always in control!

When Ike came through Chicago, we didn't really have any wind, but we sure got tons of rain. 10" in two days, 6" in 8 hours Saturday morning and the parking lots and roads were flooded.
