labor day parade

This past weekend, we went to Ligonier for the Marshmallow Festival. On Monday it's a tradition that our family members meet for lunch at my grandma's house and then watch the parade on her lawn.

This year my grandma and her friend Betty were the grand marshals. Can you believe it?!

Uncle Terry and Jake

Ryan and Tasha....Ryan DJ'd the parade. (He is a TV reporter in Ft. Wayne - Ryan Elijah)

Justin and Jen

My cousins Kam and Brianna...Brianna won the Marshmallow queen. Isn't she beautiful?!

Here she is riding in the convertible. What a perfect wave Bri!

Here comes grandma and Betty. Bless their hearts, it was so hot out and they had to dress up in such warm clothing!

Ethan on the run!

Justin, Jen, Josh, Ethan, and I watching the parade!

Josh was able to meet up with some friends from college, JD and Adam.

"Can we have a balloon?!"

Ethan loved his balloon!

Watching the parade...

Ethan enjoyed drinking water from a "real" cup and would splash it on himself when he tried. I'm sure it felt good in the heat!

Though my family has always been a Hoosier fan, it was pretty neat to see the Boilermaker train in the parade.

Here's my sister handing out candy for Operation Foundation. (She gave Ethan a little extra - which Josh and I thoroughly enjoyed!)

Good old JD keeping an eye on Ethan's balloon :)
