vacation!!

We're back!! This past week was such a relaxing week for all of us. First of all, let me share a huge praise with you. Josh and I have decided that we're not going to have the CT scan done tomorrow morning as originally planned. Ethan has made such huge strides this past week that we don't see a drastic need to have the test done at this point. We'll talk with his pediatrician, but feel like it is unnecessary now to put him through all the radiation when he's making such wonderful progress. He is pulling himself up and taking several steps, trying to walk! His spitting up has improved tremendously as well. Praise God!

Ok, so now for vacation details. We stayed with my parents in their condo at Hilton Head Island this past week. The weather wasn't the best, but we won't complain because it was relaxing nonetheless! It was a great time with family and we enjoyed every minute!

Playing with the maraca that grandma bought for him...thanks grandma!

"Where are Ethan's feet?!"

Daddy and Ethan watching the waves together.

Playing in the "tot" pool.

When Josh was playing with Ethan in the kiddie pool, a frog came along and he picked it up to let Ethan touch it. Little does the picture show that when Ethan went to grab the frog, it jumped at Josh's face and they all went falling back in the water! It was so funny!

A little mid-afternoon snack of Cheerios always does the trick!

Our first, and unfortunately only, trip to the beach. (It was just too cold the other days!)

One of the little alligators we saw on one of our bike rides...

"Please let me take this hat off!"

Hanging out with grandma!

Swinging away...

Some mommy time :)

Grandma and grandpa time

One evening, mom and dad watched Ethan while we went out for a nice dinner together (alone!) It was wonderful!! We had such a relaxing evening. Thanks mom and dad!

Hang on Ethan!

Bike ride with daddy (I have to admit that the helmet didn't stay on long, he couldn't rest his head...it was too big!)

"Boy, I'm working up a sweat...I need a drink!"

This red-tailed hawk flew over us and almost hit Josh. I think it's hard to tell from this picture, but the bird was quite large...actually it was HUGE when it later attacked a poor chameleon and had it's wings spread wide.

Zonked out!

Harbor Town

The famous tree limb that we always get our picture taken on. I found it a little hard to hold Ethan and try to keep my balance!

Family pic!

Grandma and Grandpa Noelle

Ethan loved his own jacuzzi bath tub for the week! It was like his own private pool!

Because the outdoor pools were so cold, Josh took Ethan in the heated pool indoors and he wasn't too sure at first, but didn't do too bad.
