For awhile now I've slowly tried to re-introduce dairy products back into Ethan's diet. I would let him have a small amount of something (like homemade bread) that had milk in it, but had been cooked since the properties change when it's cooked. I've also been giving him organic rice milk as a substitute, and I started buying the enriched kind with calcium more recently. The things I changed in his diet were small enough that we didn't notice the subtle changes it was having until a couple of weeks ago. He was having such a hard time going to the bathroom and his poor belly kept getting tighter and more distented. Poor little boy! Finally, after trying several other changes in his diet, we realized we needed to totally take all dairy products back out again. He also can't have any products that have calcium added to it. And TADA! He is back to his skinny-little-belly self and feeling so much better! We have adjustments to make now, but we're so excited that they are easy changes to make!
*Sidenote - We should be getting our new computer in sometime next week, so I can update you with pictures of our brand new-feeling Ethan!!

Have you tried the fake cheese? Caroline is allergic to dairy and we are just finally discovering that there is a substitute that actually cooks well and tastes good (to her) Although I don't know if it would have calcium in it!
I know the pain isn't fun but that belly is cute!
