A week at Lakeside

We had a wonderful week away at Lakeside!! I was going to share just a "few" pics, and realized I have many more than that! Above is a picture of the path we walked from the beach area to our house several times a day.

These are the shuffleboard courts.

The weather was wonderful all week, with the exception of a few strong storms that came through on Thursday evening. Trees were uprooted, one fell on a house, and power was out for 7 hours. It's sure interesting being in a home that's not yours and that doesn't allow candles. We sure made the most of it though!

Here are a few of the beautiful sunsets we enjoyed during the week. God paints such gorgeous pictures!!

Ethan LOVED the water this year...as well as the sand! It didn't matter that the water was cold or that the rocks were sharp...he would just run right in!

The cottage we stayed in had several puzzles. We had fun putting them together!

One day we headed to Marblehead where all the "rocks" are marble (hence the name). We had to watch because they get very slippery when wet, but we had fun climbing them....especially Ethan. He just wanted to get in the water and swim!

The last day we were there, Josh and Greg went sailing.

We had a wonderful week away. Time with family is so precious, and it is so neat to see how Ethan grew throughout the week being with Josh all day, everyday. What a blessing time can be!
