Zoo Lights!

On Saturday, we went to the Columbus Zoo Lights! We had such a fun time!

Ethan loved the manatees!

I love this picture :) Apparently he is attacking the bear!

My view from pushing the stroller....love it!

The aquarium is a favorite for all of us!

The neat thing about going to the zoo in the winter is that you get to see the animals up close!

These animals are massive!

I wish I had pictures of all the millions of beautiful lights! It really was amazing. We will be making this an annual event I'm sure :) Unfortunately, my camera was acting up and I didn't get any good pics of the lights to share. What a fun, fun family day :)

Fall photos...

Here are a few "end of fall" photos I thought I would share with you all.

Miss Amaya continues to be such an incredible blessing to us! She is the sweetest little girl and her beautiful personality comes out a little more each and every day :)

She is really liking her stroller lately and is taking more steps each day!!

Ethan absolutely adores his sister and can't help but "love" on her at all times :)

Sweet sunshine!

Love these kiddos!!

The three musketeers!

This year daddy carved Ethan a "drum" pumpkin, complete with drumsticks and his inital. This boy is a drummer. Period. If you have seen him at all lately, you know exactly what I mean. EVERYTHING becomes either a drum or drumsticks with this little boy. His heart cannot contain his passion for music. It honestly blows me away. (Hopefully soon I will post a video of him playing.)

One of the mums I had on our front porch...I just love flowers :)

This is one of the burning bushes in our yard. I am thoroughly enjoying seeing everything bloom and change in our landscaping!! I never know what may come up :)

Harvest Party!

Last week we had a harvest party at our church. The kids were to dress up like a Bible character or an animal from Noah's Ark. Amaya was a kitty cat and Ethan wanted to be David!

Ethan, Caleb, and Jackson all came as David!!

Our sweet little kitty :)

The kids went from classroom to classroom to collect their candy. They had to say a Bible verse each time (instead of "trick-or-treat"). I found it interesting that Ethan chose the verse "The Lord is my Shepherd, I have everything that I need" as he plunged his hands down into the bowl of candy! Ha!

Amaya even enjoyed doing a craft with daddy!

I think Ethan's favorite part was jumping in the bounce house...

...and the potato sack races were fun too! We had so much fun!

Our two Buckeye "nuts"!

My friend, Morgan Zoeller, from Twysted Yarn made these hats for the kids. She does amazing work! Go Buckeyes!

Coshocton County Fair!

The five cousins - Ethan, Amaya, Colvin, Caleb, and Kale!

Ethan won "Husky" from throwing 15 consecutive darts, hitting the target each time. Husky goes with us everywhere now!

The boys riding the ferris wheel...all bundled up!

Showing off the biggest pumpkin, just his size!

Josh carried around his little "papoose". It was really chilly!!

The three boys at the bottom of the slide! They had a blast riding together!

The three musketeers...watch out! Amaya and Caleb will be joining you very soon :)

While Kale and Ethan were enjoying rides together, Josh and Stacy rode with Colvin on the big rides this year!

The last two days of the fair really warmed up! Ethan got to ride with his buddy Caleb.

Miss Amaya watching everything around her....she sure takes it all in!

Watching with Papa...

We had another wonderful year at the fair!!

Holden Beach

We had a wonderful vacation at Holden Beach, NC! The weather was perfect! It's so nice to step away from the busyness of life sometimes and cherish each and every "small" moment. The kids thoroughly enjoyed spending so many days with daddy (and I did too)!

Our sweet little girl!

Ethan LOVED the ocean, the crashing waves, the sand...you name it! Amaya, however, was a little apprehensive. She would rather sit and watch! She didn't like getting her feet "dirty"!

One of the many gorgeous sunsets we saw...isn't God amazing?!

The name of the house we stayed in was called "Sandy Feet", so I felt it appropriate to take these pics :) Amaya did not like having her feet in the sand...can you tell she is pulling her feet away?!

Ethan stepping in his daddy's footsteps....priceless. He really DOES want to be like his daddy, in every single way it seems. Love it.

Our two muchkins...loving the outdoors!!

The love of siblings :)

Loving the breeze!

More sandy feet...

Ethan loved that he got to sleep on the top bunk...so every night, daddy had their Bible study on the top bunk. Love making memories!

Taking a break to watch daddy surf the waves...

I can't begin to express how much this little boy LOVED the ocean! The bigger the waves, the better! He was jumping, boogie boarding, and swimming under the waves. Ethan did learn to swim on vacation! He is holding his breath great! I hope these videos turned out....enjoy!
