first sled ride...

Ethan had his first real sled riding experience this afternoon...I just LOVE this last picture of Josh pulling Ethan...how cute!!! I think I'm going to have to blow that one up and frame it :)

I love this picture! Contrary to first glance, Ethan is not actually standing on his own yet (though he's getting close). He is leaning up against Josh's legs, but he sure is getting big! Our little boy is growing up!



I couldn't resist taking a quick picture when Josh carried Ethan in like this to get his bath! (Josh encouraged me to HURRY and take the picture...haha!) How precious!



A nice Sunday afternoon snooze...and you know Ethan must have been really tired because he never sleeps anywhere but on his belly! He just loves being with daddy :)

My friend Kerry had received two of the same sweaters for Jackson and gave one to Ethan to wear. They both wore them to church today...how cute! Neither boy was ever really in the mood for a picture session, but we tried!

garrett lash

A good friend of mine from high school, Angie Lash, had a little boy in November (Garrett). They soon found out that he was not as healthy as they had thought. The chambers in his heart were working opposite of what they are supposed to be working. He has had several surgeries, including heart surgery and unfortunately amputating his right foot because of inadequate blood supply. Garrett is still in the hospital. Here is a clip of Ethan playing with the musical toy that my parents got him for Christmas. What's funny is, if you listen closely, the music says that it's "his turn" to sing...and he puts the microphone up to his mouth! He's too funny!

Ethan got his first two bottom teeth together...they came in around 6 months, and his top two teeth have just come in together as well. It sure is changing his looks! He is looking so big now! I love that first picture...I took that the minute that Josh walked in the door, home from work. Ethan gets SO excited to see him walk through that door! I love to see that big smile :)
