Yesterday Ethan was having a rough day, so we decided to go for a ride in the car hoping he would fall asleep. We were able to capture some beautiful pictures along the way....and yes, this is Coshocton! How beautiful!

So, I'm always having a hard time trying to get anything done during the day, so I decided to try a new place for Ethan to play where I can keep an eye on him while I am cooking...perfect! He loves his highchair! He looks so old sitting up in it!

what is ethan doing these days?

Several of you have been asking what Ethan is doing these days...so, here's the low down:

- He is sitting up pretty well (still some support though!)

- Now saying "da-da"! Daddy is sure proud (even if he doesn't associate it with being daddy yet)! It's so cute because he just goes on and on "da da da da...." I'll have to get it on camera soon!

- Grabbing for anything and EVERYTHING within reach!

- Standing up all the time when you hold him; would rather stand than sit anytime

- Wiggling, wiggling, and more wiggling, which makes diapers hard to change!

- Switching toys back and forth between his hands

- Got his first bottom tooth :)

- Chewing on his hands constantly!

- We just recently tried him on rice cereal...he likes to play with it more than eat it, but we're trying :)

He is weighing in at 15 lbs. 6 oz. and 26 inches long. Our little boy is growing up so fast!

Well, Ethan is officially cutting his first tooth. It is partially through the gums. He has been fighting with this for a couple of weeks now. And on top of that, we went to the doctor today to find out that he probably has a sinus infection as well as an ear infection. On top of that...for the last 2 weeks he has been waking up an average of 4-5 times a night. What fun huh? So....other than that, we are all doing well!!

Josh and I both love fall time and the beautiful colors. We weren't sure if leaves were going to change or not this year with the crazy warm weather we've had...but sure enough, the colors popped so suddenly. I figured I had better get pictures Sunday and Monday or the leaves would be gone with all the rain we're getting now....so enjoy the pics!

Ethan loves to listen to stories, and as you can tell, he really gets into it...especially when daddy uses different voices and noises.
It just melts my heart when I see Josh reading the Bible with Ethan. Nothing is more important than that!

The day was absolutely perfect....Jeff and Alison were married in the most sacred ceremonies I have ever attended. It was so evident that they are in love with each other...but most importantly, in love with God. The entire ceremony spoke volumes of their relationship with Christ. Nothing is more important than that! What a beautiful day! I feel so honored to have been a part of it. I am so excited to see what God has in store for them as a new couple. They have been so patient in waiting for each other....and now they are FINALLY Jeffrey and Alison Flinner!!! :)

Ethan is really into making bubbles these days...

christopher jackson croghan!!

Jackson was born yesterday evening at 5:50. He weighed in at a whopping 9 lbs. 7 oz! Both mom and baby are healthy and doing well. We thank God for safety and His protection!



Josh was able to come visit Jackson on his lunch break :)
